I WAS ADVISED THE OPERATOR WAS BEING BROUGHT IN TO HAYWARD HOSPITAL VIA PRIVATE PARTY WITH A POSSIBLE BROKEN LEG AND THAT THE BIKE WAS OFF THE ROADWAY. I ARRIVED AT HAYWARD HOSPITAL FOLLOWED SHORTLY BY THE PARTY DELIVERING THE OPERATOR, TO THE ER. UPON MEETING WITH BECKWITH, HE ADVISED HE HAD BEEN TRAVELING ALONE AROUND 55 MPH N/B ON USH 63 ABOUT 1.5 MILES NORTH OF CTH OO WHEN A DEER ENTERED THE ROADWAY. ADVISED HE DROVE THROUGH THE DEER AND AFTER GOING ANOTHER APPROXIMATE MILE HE WENT TO STOP AND PUT HIS FOOT DOWN AT WHICH TIME HE FOUND HE COULDN'T PUT WEIGHT ON HIS RIGHT LEG. ADVISED HE BELIEVE HE BROKE HIS RIGHT TIBIA OR FIBULA. ADVISED HE WAS NOT WEARING A HELMET BUT WAS WEARING EYE PROTECTION WITH THE MOTORCYCLE BEING INSURED BY AMERICAN FAMILY. STATED TO THE ER PHYSICIAN THAT HE HAD ONE MIXED DRINK AT THE SAWMILL. WHILE SPEAKING WITH BECKWITH, I DID NOT BELIEVE ALCOHOL WAS A FACTOR. I WAS ADVISED THAT FRIENDS HAD ALREADY REMOVED THE MOTORCYCLE HOWEVER THE DEER WAS STILL IN THE ROADWAY.
