Kelly Larsen from Winter Greenhouse forwarded me
your email regarding rock rip rap for erosion control
under the deck we have on Spring Lake. We certainly
want to be in compliance so we won't go that route and
will probably plant some native plants there instead.
You mentioned in your em that the deck appears to be
an illegal structure. When I bought the properry in 2020
there was an existing deck and what I had done was a
rebuild making the structure sound. I'm attaching
a photo of what it looked like then and a current picture
from the same angle so you can see that it is the same.
I hope this meets with your approval and I assure you I
will not have rock put down but will go with native plants
to stop any future erosion
