RE: New Structure(s) (Shed) Without Land Use Permit (LUP) at 5025N Clayton Rd
It has come to the attention of The Sawyer County Zoning & Conservation Department
that you have constructed or started construction at the above-named property. A LUP is
required for all construction activities. Whether a structure is portable or temporary they
still meet the definition of a structure. Per the Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance, a permit
and permit fee is required for structures in excess of 100 square feet.
Since our office has not received a LUP for the After-The-Fact (ATF) start of
construction/placement it will now be a double permit fee. Please fill out the attached
LUP and submit to our office with the appropriate ATF double fee for an accessory
structure as indicated on the fee schedule attached by January 15, 2024. If the LUP is
not received by then with the appropriate fee, a citation under 11.3 Action Conducted
Without Pennit will be issued with a recominendation to the Courts that the ATF fee will
need to be paid plus the citation amount of$452.50 or a citation in the same amount and
removal.
