Dear Zoning Administrator:
With your approval, we would like to build the slab for our pro-
posed garage as soon as possible this fall. This would enable us
to start the garage itself yet this fall. Then, later in the
spring, we would like to start the addition to our house .
The plans for the addition are being drawn by Joe Jalowitz of
Arrow Building Company in Hayward. As soon as he can, he will
draw the plans for our addition to be started in the spring.
When we know the cost of the building supplies for both a one and
two-story addition, we will decide which we will build. The
kitchen and dining would be on the main floor. If we decide to
put on a second story, it would be for a bedroom.
We were told that we shouldn ' t start the slab without a building
permit. We also were told that one permit could cover the slab,
garage and addition.
Our septic tank and drain field are 4%z years old.
We are planning to retire soon and move to our lake house, so we
are enclosing our check in the amount of $60 . 00 , to cover the
cost of the permit , and a self-addressed, stamped envelope for
your convenience in returning the permit to us as soon as our
application is approved. If you have any questions , please call
