Dear Mr. Rubsam:
On October 25, 1990, the Sawyer County Zoning Board of Appeals
approved your application for a variance on the following described real
estate to wit:
Unit 6, Anchor Bay Condominium being a part of Govt Lot 8 S
29, T 40N, R 8W. Parcel -30.6. WD Vol 385 Records Pg 409
and Condo Plat Vol 1 Pg 50. Property is zoned RR-2.
Application is for the construction of a 7' x 36` addition
onto an existing dwelling at a waterline setback of 18 feet
from the normal highwater mark of Lac Court Oreilles.
Variance is requested as Section 4.49, Sawyer County Zoning
Ordinance, would require a waterline setback of 46 feet as
the average waterline setback was dete�mined at 46 feet from
the normal highwater mark of the lake; and Section 4.49,
prohibits construction within 40 feet of the normal highwater
mark of the lake.
The Board of Appeals approved the variance limiting the new addition to no
more than 250 square feet and it is not to be constructed closer to the normal
highwater mark than the existing structure.
Findir.gs of Fact of the Board of Appeals: It is not the basis of economic
gain or loss; It would be a self-created hardship; There would be no change
in the use in the zone district; It would not be damaging to the rights of
ethers or property values; and it would be due to special conditions unique
to the property.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by this decision of the Board of
Appeals may commence an action in the Circuit Court for Writ of Certiorari to
review the legality of this decision within 30 days after the date of this
notice.

Variance 90-020.
