I apologize for the delay and inconvenience. Our major problem is that we have researched our files thoroughly and can not find records on the existing septic/sewer system. Our office has records back to 1968. If we have no record of the existing system, we can only assume that the system is over 30 years old or someone has put in a system without a soil test or sanitary permit. We will not allow you to hook up the old existing system, which more than likely is grossly undersized according to today's code standards. Enclosed, please find a list of soil testers and plumbers. You will have to get a soil test and sanitary permit and have a new system installed. Unfortunately, we will not be able to process your permit prior to a soil test and sanitary permit submitted to our off'ice. 5hould you have any questions please write or call.
