Mr.Henkel would like to covert the garage attached to the house to a screen porch. He
would also change the roofline on the garage to match the roofline of the house. I am
willing to issue a permit for this project as all construction activities would be within the
footprint of the existing structure(i.e.,no closer to the lake,lot line etc.). However,since
this is a nonconforming structure,I want to ensure that construction activities will not
exceed 50%of the current estimated fair market value of the house.
