There is no time limit as to how long I can hold your application for land use permit. As long as I know you still intend to build I will continue to hold the permit. However, I can only hold the check for one year. I received your application on April 29, 1999. After that date this year, I will return your check and you can send another one to me when you are ready. As for the completion date of the first permit, could you send a copy of the letter you have? The rule now is, you have one year to have the dwelling enclosed. Which means you must have the walls up and the roof on. If we could review the letter regarding the first permit it may help to clear up any misunderstanding. On the other hand, you intend to have interior plumbing in the house, therefore you must have a code complying septic system. I hope that we can get this all worked out soon.
