3. You are hereby authorized to place clean fieldstone quarty stone 6 to 24 Inches in diameter a�ong �`f , Ilneal
feet d the shoreline. The stone may�extend up to ' '�O � feet waferv+ard as measured fr m the exlsUng bank. The
stone shall fo�low the natural contour of the shorellne and shall not be placed higher than ��� Inches above the
ordinary high watermark. The Flnal rlprap slope shall not exceed 2 feet horizorrtal to 1 foot vertical.

maximum area allowed by the local shorelantl zoning ordlnance or 10,000 square feet, whichever Is less.
5. The use of fllter cloth, or a fitter layer, under the dprap Is recommended to extend the life of the structure and to Imprwe
etfeaiveness.
6. The projea shall be constructed in a manner that prevents upiand soil losses and sedimentation of the waterway. Temporary
erosion control measures such as mulch, silt fence, and/or straw bales shall be used as nesded and shall be put in place
prior to any precipitation or rf work ceases for longer than 24 consecutive hours. Any upland areas disturbed during
construdion shall be propery stabilized Immeaiately following project completion by seeding and mulching.
7. The removal of lrees, shrubs, and other shoreline vegetation shall be kept to a minimum and any vegetation removal above
the ordinary high watermark of the waterway must comply with the shore cover remova� requirements of lhe local counry
zoning ordlnance.
8. No waterward extension of the upland property is permitted other than what is reasonabty necessary for the placemerrt of
riprep !o stabilize and protect the existing bank. No fill material may be placed in a wetland or below the ordinary high
watermark of any surface water.
9. This permit Is not valid unless you have obtalned all required approvals from other LOCAL, STATE and FEDERAL
jurlsdiaions.
t0. Thls permH expires on November 1 of the calendar vear followinq the date of Issuance. No construcifon
may take place aher that date unless you obtain a written e�Aension of this permit from the Department before the data ihe
permit explres.
11. You must keep a copy of this permR at the project site at all times un1il the project is completed.
12. You must allow Department employees access to the project site to make inspactions at any time to determine whether the
work is In compliance with this permR and any other legal requirements.
13. If necessary, ihe Department may:
a. Amend this permR by changing or adding conditions to ensure that the projed is in compliance wilh all applicable
legal requirements.
b. Revoke thls permit to proted the public Inlerest or preverrt material impairment of navlgatlon.
