The use of flfter cloth, or a fitter layer, under the riprap is recommended to extend the life ot the structure and to Improve effectiveness. 6. The project shall be construaed in a manner thaz prevents upland soil losses and sedimentation of the wa2erway. Temporary erasion corrtrol measures such as mulch, sik fence, and/or straw bales shall be used as needed and shall be put In place prior to any preclpitatlon or if work ceases for longer than 24 consecutive hours. Arry upland areas disturbed during construaion shall be property stabilized immedlately tollowing project completion by seeding and mulching. 7. The removai of trees, shrubs, and other shoreline vegetation shall be kept to a minimum and any vegetation removal above the ordinary high watermark of ihe waterway must compiy wfth the shore cover removal requirements of the local county zoning ortllnance. 8. No waterward wctension of the upland proparty is permitted other than what is reasonahy necessary for the placement of riprap to stabilize and protect the existing bank. No fl� material may be placed in a wetland or below the ordinary high watermark of any suAace watec . 9. Thls permit Is not valid unless you have obtalned all requlred approvals from othar LOCAL, STATE and FEDERAL jurisdictlons. 10. This permtt expires on November 1 of the calendar vear foliowinq the date of Issuance.
