Dear Mr. Purdin,
On June 2Q 2000, the Sawyer County Board of Appeals approved your variance on the follow-
in� described real estate to wit:
Lot 2, being Part of Govt Lot 4, S 14, T 41N, R 8W, Parcel :4.5. LC Vol 694 Re-
cords Page 465. 13.074 acres. Property is zoned Residential/Recreational One
(RR-1). Application is for the construction of a 32'x54' garage on vacant prop-
erty. Variance is requested as Section 4.26, Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance,
would prohibit the construction of accessory buildings on vacant property. No aa
tion was taken at the Town Board meeting due to lack of a second to a motion.
The Board of Appeals approved the application as submitted.
Findings of Fact of the Board of Appeals: It would not be the basis of economic gain or loss. It
would not be a self-created hardship due to the elevation and steep bank of this property. There
would be no chan�e in the use in the zone district. It would be due to special conditions unique to
the property. They've made an effort to keep the building low, they will have it in a color thaYs
suitable to the land, they will prevent another 20 homes being built on this property.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by this decision of the Board of Appeals may commence
an action in the Circuit Court for Writ of Certiorari to review the legality of this decision within
30 days after the date of this notice. In future correspondence, or in applying for permits, please
refer to Variance 00-025.
