Application is for: the construction of a 32' x 44' replacement roof (with change in roofline) onto an existing
dwelling at a setback of 30' from the ordinary high water mark of Moose Lake, and the construction of a 14' x
15' roofed entry (replacing a 4' x 12' roofed entry) at a setback of 67' from the ordinary high water of the lake.
Variance is requested as: Section 4.49(2), Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance, would require a setback of 75'
from the lake as an average lake setback could not be determined from the lake.

Dear Mr.And Mrs.Feldner:
I have enclosed the following documents with this letter:
• Inspection Report far the above property,
• "Court Decisions Regarding the Granting of Variances,"
• "Application for Variance-Additional Information,"and a completed
• "Variance Application."
Please review the inspection report,read the summary on court decisions and complete
the request for additional information.
If you believe that you meet the criteria for the requested variance(s),you should review
the variance application for correctness,sign it,and return it to this officc with a check in
the amount of$250.00 made out to the"Sawyer County Zoning Administration"by
Friday,August 6,1999 for bearings in September 1999.
The"Application for Variance-Additional Information"must also be completely filled
out and returned with the Variance Application.Both documents together make up the
entire application that will be reviewed by the Sawyer County Board of Appeals.Failure
to return both of the documents,or failure to complete either document in its entirety,will
cause the variance application to be rejected by this office.
Your application will be reviewed at two public hearings.The first hearing will held by
the Town of Round Lake at 630 P.M.,Thursday,September 9,1999.You should contact
Kathy McCoy,Clerk,Town of Round Lake at(715)462-3723 to confirm this date.
The Sawyer County Board of Appeals will hold the second hearing at 7:00 P.M.,
Tuesday,September 21,1999 in the Circuit Courtroom located in the Sawyer County
Courthouse.You or your representative should attend each hearing,especially the hearing
conducted by the Sawyer County Board of Appeals. Only the Boazd of Appeals can grant
the vaziance, the decision of the Town oF Round Lake is advisory only.
It is your responsibility to convince the Board of Appeals to grant the variance(s) that you
have requested. Therefore, you should consider using any means at your disposal (i.e.,
photographs, drawings, a good verbal presentation, etc.) as you present your facts to the
Board.
Please contact Mrs. Kitty Taylor if you have any questions. Office hours are 8:00 A.M. to
4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
