Possible Violation of the Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance - Construction of an Addition
onto an Existing Dwelling Without the Issue of a Land Use Permit - $393.50
Dear Mr. Blodgett:
On Thursday, November 18, 1999 I visited your property regarding a complaint that an
addition had been constructed onto the dwelling without the issue of a Land Use Permit.
See the attached inspection report. The Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance requires that a
Land Use Permit be issued by this office for the construction of structures larger than 100
square feet.
I have researched the permit files and I could not locate any documentation for the
construction of the addition. Without the proper documentatioi� there is a violation of the
Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance: Construction of the addition without a Land Use
Permit - $393.50.
Please contact me by Monday, December 6, 1999 if you have copies of any documents
from this office autharizing the construction of the addition. If I have not heard from you
by that date, I shall assume that the violation is valid and I will then issue the citation.
I an1 also enclosing an Application for Land Use Perillit for an after-the-fact permit for
the construction of the addition. The permit fee is $75.00. Please return the completed
application with a check in the amount of $75.00 made out to "Saw�er County "Loning
Administration" to tlus office by Friday, December 10, 1999.
Please contact this office if you havc any questions or comments. Office hours are 8:00
A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
