As you know, the required waterline setback for the construction of your proposed replacement dwelling is 75 feet. However, because you desire to construct the dwelling at a waterline setback of 52 feet, the prior approval of a variance application by the Sawyer County Board of Appeals is required before construction can begin. I have enclosed a completed "Variance Application. ' Please review the application, and if conect, sign it and retum it to this office with a check in the amount of $250.00 made out to the "Sawyer County Zoning Administration. " The application and check must be in this office by 4:00 P.M. , Friday, O1 November 1996 for public hearings in December 1996. Your "Variance Application" will be reviewed at two public hearings. The first hearing will be held by the Town of Hayward at 7:30 P.M. , Tuesday, 03 December 1996. You should reconfirm this date with Mrs. Arlene Mizerka, Town Clerk, Tel: (715) 634-4123. The second hearing will be held by the Sawyer Counry Board of Appeals at 7:00 P.M. , Tuesday, 17 December 1996 in the Circuit Courtroom located in the Sawyer County Courthouse. You, or your representative, should attend each hearing, especially the hearing conducted by the Sawyer County Board of Appeals. Only the Board of Appeals can �rant the variance, the opinion of the Town of Hayward is advisory only.
