On October 15, 1996, the Sawyer County Board of Appeals approved your application
for a variance on the following described real estate to wit:
Lots 1 and 2, Part SW} of the NW� and SE� of the NW�
S 6, T 39N, B 6W. Parcel .8.2. WD Vol 476 Records Pg
310; QCD Vol 530 Records Pg 178; and CS Vol 15 Pg 198.
Parcel size is 1.33 acres. Property is zoned
Residential/Recreational Ttao. Application is for the
replacement of an existing dwelling with the
construction of a new dwelling at a waterline setback
of 52 feet from the ordinary highwater mark of the
Chippewa Flowage. Variance is requested as Section
4.49, Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance, would require a
waterline setback of 75 feet from the ordinary highwater
mark of the lake. No decision received from the Town
Board.
The Board of Appeals approved the application as submitted.
Findings of Fact of the Board of Appeals: It would not be a self-created hardship.
There would be no change in the use in he zone district. It would be due to
special conditions unique to the property. This is a true topographical hardship.
The only buildable spot is the spot picked.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by this decision of the Board of Appeals
may commence an action in the Circuit Court for Writ of Certiorari to review
the legality of this decision within 30 days after the date of this notice.
In future correspondence, or in applying for permits, please refer to Variance
96-033.

Hearing before the Sawyer County Zoning Board of Appeals on
October 15, 1996
This hearing wi11 begin at 7:00 P.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse,
406 Main, Hayward, Wisconsin.
It is recon¢nended that either you or a representative be present
at the Hearing. A ].ack of information about the situation may result
in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to appear may also re-
sult in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative to be present, please submit
a written statement to this office directed to Arvid H. Va11em, Chairman
of the Board of Appeals. This statement should include a description
of the general terrain; surrounding development; your proposed intentions;
and the purpose of the request. Photographs of the property and/or
buildings are requested. Explain the undue zoning hardship inflicted
upon the owner by conforming to the required minimum regulation which
induced the variance request. Convenience and financial loss or
gain does not constitute zoning hardship.
