On January 16, 1996, the Sawyer County Board of Appeals approved your application
for a variance on the following described real estate to wit:
Parcel in Govt Lot 2 S 13, T 39N, R 9W. Parcel :2.16. WD Vol
530 Records Pg 150. Parcel size is 1.51 acres. Property is zoned
RR-2. Application was for the construction of a 12}' x 15'
addition onto an existing dwelling at a waterline setback of 40
feet from the normal highwater mark of Whitefish Lake. Variance
was requested as Section 4.49 (2), Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance
would require a waterline setback of 60 feet as the average
waterline setback was determined at 60 feet from the normal high-
water mark of the lake. Town Board approved.
The Board of Appeals approved the application with the condition that the addition
is no closer to the lake and parallel to the cabin.
Findings of Fact of the Board of Appeals: There would be no change in the
use in the zone district. It would not be damaging to the rights of others
or property values.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by this decision of the Soard of Appeals
may commence an action in the Circuit Court for Writ of Certiorari to review
the legality of this decision within 30 days after the date of this notice.
In future correspondence, or in applying for permits, please refer to Variance
96-002.

This hearing wi11 begin at 7 : 00 PM in the Sawyer County Courthouse ,
406 Main, Hayward, Wisconsin.

Attached is a copy of the inspection report based on my visit
to your property yesterday. As you know, the average shoreline
setback for this parcel is 60 feet. I have also attached a
completed "Variance Application" for your proposed 122' s 15'
addition. Please review the application, sign it and return
it to this office by 4:00 P.M. , Friday 03 November 1995 for
December 1995 public hearings. The Application must be accompanied
by a check in the amount of $175.00 made out to the "Sawyer
County Zoning Administration." You should also know, that effective
O1 January 1996, the variance application fee wi11 increase
to $250.00.
