Dear Mr. Davis,
On December 17, 2002, the Sawyer County Board of Appeals approved your application for
variance on the following described real estate to wit:
Part of Govt Lot 6, S 4, T 40N, R 7W, Parcel :6.6. Vol 823 Records Page 63. 3.86 acres.
Property is zoned Residential/Recreational One. Application is for the construction of a
22'x66' addition (23'x30' including eaves) with basement, onto an existing dwelling at a
setback distance of 71' from the ordinary high-water mark of Reed Lake. The roof of the
proposed addition will tie into the roof of the existing dwelling at a setback distance of
61' from the lake. Variance is requested as Section 4.49(2), Sawyer County Zoning Ordi-
nance, would require a minimum setback distance of 75' from the ordinary high-water
mark of the lake, as the average setback was determined at this distance from the lake.
The Town Board has approved the application.
The Board of Appeals approved the application with a two year expiration date. Also, the appli-
cant will have a septic system inspection by June 1, 2003. If the system fails a code -complying
inspection, the owner will have the system replaced.
Findings of Fact of the Board of Appeals: It would not be damaging to the rights of others or
property values. There would be no increase in the non -conformity.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by this decsion of the Board of Appeals may commence
an action in the Circuit Court for Writ of Certiorari to review the legality of this decision within
30 days after the date of this notice. In future correspondence, or in applying for permits, please
refer to Variance 02-038.
Yours truly,
Cindy K. Yackley
