On July 15,2003,the Sawyer County Board of Appeals accepted the withdrawal of your appli-
cation for variance on the following described real estate to wit:
Part of Govt Lot 4,S 30,T 41N,R 7W,Parcel :4.13.Vol 371 Records Page 91.
.46 acres.Property is zoned District ResidentiaURecreational One.Application is
for the construction of a 20'x26' (including eaves) addition to an existing non-
conforming cabin,and at the rear of the cabin,exceeding the average setback of
51'from the ordinary high-water mark of Round Lake;and at a setback distance of
61'from the centerline of Filter Bay Road,a town road.Variance is requested as
Section 4.21(3), Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance, would require a minimum
setback distance of 63' from the centerline of a town road, and Section 4.26(1)
prohibits the cosntruction of accessory buildings on vacant property. The Town
Board has denied the application.
The Board of Appeals accepted the withdrawal afrer the applicant's representative rescinded the
request for the garage,and the Board determined that the addition could be constructed without
exceeding 50%of the current esfimated fair market value and that the reduced size of the addi-
tion to 18'x26'(including eaves)would meet the setback requirements from the town road;there-
fore the variance would not be needed.
