Applica- tion is for the installation of a driveway access onto County Highway T at a set- back distance of 38' from the nearest adjacent driveway. Variance is requested as Section 4.23, Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance, would require a minimum set- back distance of 300' between adjacent driveways. The Town Board has tabled the application. The Board of Appeals denied the application as submitted. Findings of Fact of the Board of Appeals: It would be the convenience of the owner. It would be a self-created hardship. It would not be due to special conditions unique to the property. There is a second driveway already. Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by this decsion of the Board of Appeals may commence an action in the Circuit Court for Writ of Certiorari to review the legality of this decision within 30 days after the date of this notice. Please review the inspection report and the variance application for correctness. If correct, sign the application and return it to this office with a check in the amount of $250.00 made out to the "Sawyer County Zoning Administration" by Friday, December 6, 2002 for hearings in January 2003. Your "Vaziance Application" will be reviewed at two public meetings/hearings. The first meeting will held by the Town of Lenroot at 7:00 P.M., Monday, January 13, 2003. You should contact Lois Miller, Town of Lenroot Clerk, at (715) 634-5902 (home) to verify this information. The Sawyer County Board of Appeals will hold the second hearing at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 21, 2003, in the large cour[room located in the Sawyer County Courthouse. You or your representative should attend each heazing, especially the hearing conducted by the Sawyer County Board of Appeals. Only the Board of Appeals can grant the variance,the decision of the Town of Lenroot is advisory only. It is your responsibility to convince the Board of Appeals to grant the vaziance that you have requested. Therefore, you should consider using any means at your disposal (i.e., photographs, drawings, a good verbal presentation, etc.) as you present your facts to the Board. Mr. Eytcheson, after visiting the property I believe that you should be prepared if the Board should ask you why the proposed driveway can not be located further north along the highway. The Board will be aware that your property has over 500' of frontage on the highway. It would be only logical for them to ask that the driveway be located further than 38' from the closest driveway.
