Dear Mr. Pendleton,
On November 18, 2004, the Sawyer County Zoning Committee denied your application
for change of zone district on the following described real estate to wit:
Part of the SE'/4 SW'/4, S 1, T 41N, R 9W, Parcel 3403, on USH 63. WD Vol 474
Records Page 548. 1.64 acres total. Change from District Residential/Recreational
One to District Commercial One. Purpose of request is for the location/operation
of an auto repair business by the purchaser. The Town Board has approved.
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: It would be damaging to the rights of others or
property values. It would be detrimental to ecology, wildlife, wetlands or shorelands.
The Sawyer County Board of Supervisors must ratify the denial of the change in zone
district before it becomes final. This will be scheduled for the County Board meeting on
December 16, 2004, 6:30 P.M., in the Circuit Courtroom of the Sawyer County
Courthouse.
This decision is a recommendation to the County Board of Supervisors. Any person or
persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the County Board may commence an action
with the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the decision in whole or in part,
within thirty(30) days after the filing of the decision in the office of the Committee.

Your application for a Change in Zone District will be considered at a Public Hearing
before the Sawyer Counry Zoning Committee on
Thursday November 18,2004
This Hearing will begin at 9:00 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street,Hayward,Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing.A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to
appear may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative be present,please submit a written statement in caze
of this office directed to James Bassett, Chaiiman of the Zoning Committee. This
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general terrain and surrounding development. Photographs of the
property and/or buildings would be beneficial. Indicate the undue hardship inflicted upon
the owner by confornung to the present zone district and the compatibility of the proposed
use with the surrounding land uses. Convenience and financial loss or gain does not
constitute zoning hardship.
Your appiication will come before the Town Board for their review.Please contact
the Town Clerk, Lois Miller; 634-5902 to confirm the date and obtain the time of
the Town Board meeting for your attendance or the attendance of your agent.
