Dear Ms. Naegeli,
On December 17, 2004, the Sawyer County Zoning Committee denied your application
for change of zone district on the following described real estate to wit:
Lots 1-4 and Lot 42, Block 1, 2°d Addition Abendpost Beach, S 31, T 40N, R 8W,
Parcel -14.1.1. Document #326062. .529 acres. Change from District Forestry One
to District Commercial One. Purpose of request is to operate a beauty salon within
an existing structure. Also to conform with the surrounding zoning and the Bass
Lake Town plan. Property does not meet the dimensional requirements of the
Forestry zone district. The Town Board has denied.
Findings of Fact: It would not be in compliance with the Town Board.
The Sawyer County Board of Supervisors must ratify the denial of the change in zone
district before it becomes final. This will be scheduled for the County Board meeting on
January 20, 2004, 6:30 P.M., in the Circuit Courtroom of the Sawyer County
Courthouse.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee also motioned to waive the fee for the applicant's
change of zone district to RR-1. Applicant may, at the same time, apply for a conditional
use for operation of the beauty shop. The Committee further motioned to allow the
applicant to operate the beauty shop while these applications are being processed, until
April.
This decision is a recommendation to the County Board of Supervisors. Any person or
persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the County Board may commence an action
with the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the decision in whole or in part,
within thirty(30) days after the filing of the decision in the office of the Committee.

Your application for a Change in Zone District will be considered at a Public Hearing
before the Sawyer County Zoning Committee on
December 17,2004
This Hearing will begin at 9:00 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street, Hayward, Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure
to appear may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative be present,please submit a written statement in care
of this office directed to James Bassett, Chairman of the Zoning Committee. This
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general terrain and surrounding development. Photographs of the
property and/or buildings would be beneficial. Indicate the undue hardship inflicted upon
the owner by conforming to the present zone district and the compatibility of the
proposed use with the surrounding land uses. Convenience and financial loss or gain do
not constitute zoning hardship.
