Notice is hereby given that on December 15, 2006 the Sawyer County Zoning Committee
approved with conditions the following application:
Lot 2, being Part of the SW '/4 NW '/4, S 36, T 42N, R 9W, Parcel .7.10. Doc #331861;
CSM Vo1 17 Page 224. 1.45 acres. Property is zoned Residential/Recreational One.
Permit is desired for exceeding the impervious surface limit of 15% to a total of 17.4%
by the construction of a 6'x40' (including overhang) covered walkway between existing
structures. The Town Board has approved the application.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved the application as follows: impervious
surface not to exceed 17.4%; ground surface below walkway to remain pervious.
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: It would be not damaging to the rights of
others or property values.
The approval of the conditional use will expire on December 15, 2007, if application for
the actual permit to use/construct is not made by that date. Please be aware that a separate
Land Use Permit will have to be obtained for the dwelling that is to be built later.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may
commence an action with the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the decision in
whole ar in part, within thirty (30) days after the filing of the decision in the office of the
Committee.

Re: Proposed Amendments to the Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance
Enclosed are copies of proposed amendments to the following sections of the Sawyer
County Zoning Ordinance: Section 4.25 LOT SIZES, Section 4.49(4) Fences,
SETBACKS FROM NAVIGABLE WATER and Section 18.0 DIMENSIONAL
REQUIREMENTS. A Town Board decision form is also enclosed for each proposed
amendment. The Sawyer County Zoning Committee will conduct a public hearing on
these amendments on Friday, October 20, 2006. We would appreciate your Town's
response by Wednesday, October 18`h. You are receiving these amendments earlier than
usual so that your Town Board will have two months (September and October) to
consider its responses. Please contact this office if you have any questions.
Proposed amendments:
1. 4.251 Creation of Lots. (This is a new section.)
1) Any LOT created after adoption of this ordinance, or an amendment
thereto, shall contain in rectangular form, and extending rearward from the
LOT FRONT, the most restrictive minimum LOT AREA, LOT WIDTH
and LOT DEPTH requirements contained in either Section 4.417 LAKE
CLASS DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS or Section 18.0
DIMENSIONAL REQUIREMENTS.
2) Creation of LOTs in which the LOT DEPTH cannot be met within the
first 200 feet.
(a) LOT AREA shall be, at a minimum, 150% of the most restrictive
