Notice is hereby given that on June 16, 2006 the Sawyer County Zoning Committee
approved the following application:
Lot 40, being Part of the SW'/4 NW'/4, S 7, T 41N, R 8W, Parcel .7.5. Doc
#33625; CSM Vol 27 Page 76. 5.05 total acres. Property is zoned Agricultural
One. Permit is desired for the construction of a single family dwelling, owner not
being engaged in agricultural activities. The Town Board has not returned a
decision.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved the application as submitted.
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: It would not be damaging to the rights of
others or property values. It would be compatible with surrounding uses and the area. It
would not destroy prime agricultural lands since it is a pine plantation now.
The approval of the conditional use will expire on June 16, 2007, if application for the
actual permit to use/construct is not made by that date. Your application is on file in this
office and needs a soil test, sanitary permit, and fire number to be issued.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may
commence an action with the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the decision in
whole or in part, within thirty (30) days after the filing of the decision in the office of the
Committee.

Your application for a Conditional Use will be considered at a Public Hearing before the
Sawyer County Zoning Committee on Friday, June 16, 2006.
This Hearing will begin at 9:00 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street, Haywazd, Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to
appear may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative to be present, please submit a written statement in
care of this office directed to James Bassett, the Chainnan of the Zoning Committee. This
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general terrain and sunounding development. Photogaphs of the
property and surrounding azea is encouraged land uses. Indicate how the proposed use
would not be contrary to the public interest, et cetera.
Your application will come before the Town Board for their review. Some
townships also have a Planning Commission. Please contact the Town Clerk, Carol
Stone; 715/634-4509 to obtain the time and confirm the date of the Planning
Commission and Town Board meetings for your attendance or the attendance of
your agent.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Prois,
Enclosed please find an application for a Conditional Use Public Hearing on the above
described property for the purpose of constructing a single family dwelling, not being
engaged in farming. If the property is not being used for farming activities (raising crops
or livestock or renting out fields for these purposes) a public hearing is necessary before
the permits can be issued to build a dwelling in the A-1 zone district.
The application and $200 public hearing fee are due Friday, May 5, 2006 in order to be
placed on the June, 2006 public hearing schedule. The conditional use flowchart shows
the steps leading to approval by the Zoning Committee. Notice that the Town of Lenroot
is requested to give an opinion. The request would be on the agenda for their June 12
Town Board meeting, which may require prior review by the Lenroot Planning
Committee. After approval of the conditional use, you have one year to obtain the
necessary permits to build (certified soil test, sanitary permit, land use permit).
