Notice is hereby given that on January 20, 2006 the Sawyer County Zoning Committee
approved the following application:
Lot 29, Block 1, 15` Addition Bauers Heights Subd., S 28, T 38N, R 3W, Parcel -
3.29. Vol 429 Records Page 432. 0.58 acres. Property is zoned Residential/
Recreational One. Permit is desired for exceeding the impervious surface
limitation of 15% to a total of 25%, by the construction of a 36'x40' garage.
Variance #OS-037 was approved far a 33' setback for this garage to the centerline
of Johnson Road. The Town Board has approved the application.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved the application as submitted.
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: It would not be damaging to the rights of
others or property values. It would not be detrimental to ecology, wildlife, wetlands, or
shorelands.
The approval of the conditional use will expire on January 20, 2007, if application for the
actual permit to use/construct is not made by that date.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may
commence an action with the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the decision in
whole or in part, within thirty (30) days after the filing of the decision in the office of the
Committee.

On November 15, 2005, the Sawyer County Board of Appeals approved your application for
variance on the following described real estate to wit:
Lot 29, Block 1, lst Addition Bauers Heights Subdivision, S 28, T 38N, R 3W, Parcel -
3.29. Vol 429 Records Page 432. 100'x226'/230'containing .58 acres. Property is zoned
Residential/Recreational One. Application is for the construction of a 36'x32' (40'x36'
with eaves) single story, detached garage at a setback distance of 33' to the centerline of
Johnson Road (a town road). Variance is requested as Section 4.21(3), Sawyer County
Zoning Ordinance, would require a minimum setback distance of 63' from the centerline
of this road. The Town Board has approved the application.
The Board of Appeals approved the application as submitted with a 2 year time limit.
Findings of Fact of the Board of Appeals: It would not be a self-created hardship. There would
be no change in the use in the zone district. It would not be damaging to the rights of others or
property values.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by this decision of the Board of Appeals may commence
an action in the Circuit Court for Writ of Certiorari to review the legality of this decision within
30 days after the date of this notice. In future correspondence, or in applying for permits, please
refer to Variance OS-037.

Conclusion: Any runoff from driveway, proposed garage, and wood shed goes toward the road.
There isn't any roof runaff from the house to Johnson Road or to Connors Lake
since all water off the main house roof travels underground as proven by the
drawing and photographs showing the five down spouts entering the graund. The
small porch on the south side of the house is the only area where downspouts do
not go underground. This amounts to only 160 square feet of runoff.
