Notice is hereby given that on January 19, 2007, the Sawyer County Zoning Committee denied
the following application:
Part of Govt Lot 2, lying south and east of the Chippewa and Brunet Rivers. S 24, T 37N,
R 7W, Part of Parcel 5201. Vol 564 Records Page 389, Doc #331912. 38.59 acres.
Change from District Agricultural One tio District Agricultural Two. Purpose of request is
for the development of 5 acre rural home sites. The Town Board has approved.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee denied the rezone application as submitted.
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: The surrounding area is all A-1. There is no reason to
change zone district other than to circumvent the CUP application process.
The Sawyer County Board of Supervisors must ratify the denial of the change in zone district
before it becomes finaL This will be scheduled far the County Board meeting on February 15,
2007, 6:30 P.M., in the Circuit Courtroom of the Sawyer County Courthouse.
This decision is a recommendation to the County Board of Supervisors. Any person or persons
jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Coimty Board may commence an action with the Sawyer
County Board of Appeals to review the decision in whole or in part, within thirty (30) days after
the filing of the decision in the office of the Comnuttee.

Your application for a Change in Zone District will be considered at a Public Hearing
before the Sawyer County Zoning Committee on:Friday,January 19,2007.
This Hearing will begin at 8:30 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street,Hayward,Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing.A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to
appeaz may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative be present,please submit a written statement in care
of this office directed to James Bassett, Chairman of the Zoning Committee. This
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general tercain and surcounding development. Photographs of the
property and/or buildings would be beneficial. Indicate the undue hardship inflicted upon
the owner by conforming to the present zone district and the compatibility of the proposed
use with the surrounding land uses. Convenience and financial loss or gain does not
constitute zoning hardship.
Your application will come before the Town Board for their review. Some
townships also have a Planning Commission.Please contact the Town Clerk,Betty
Brown, 715/943-2390 to confirm the date and obtain the time of the Planning
Commission and Town Board meetings for your attendance or the attendance of
your agent.
