On September 21, 2007, the Sawyer County Zoning Committee denied your applications for
change of zone district on the following described real estate to wit:
Part of the NE 1/4 SW 1/4, S 17, T 38N, R 7W, Parcel .9.3. Vol 436 Records page 108.
24.24 acres. Change from District Agricultural One to District Residential/Recreational
Two. Purpose of request is for the location/operation of a campground with
approximately 20 primitive sites and approximately 40 RV sites, most seasonal. A
conditional use application will be made by the purchaser upon approval of this
application. The Town Board has denied the appliation. On Sept. 18, 2007 zoning
received a phone call from the purchaser stating he no longer wishes to pursue the rezone
for the campground and wishes to withdraw the application.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee denied the application as submitted.
Findings of Fact: It is outside the shorelands. Town Board decision stands.
The Sawyer County Board of Supervisors must ratify the denial of the change in zone district
before it becomes final. This will be scheduled for the County Board meeting on October 16,
2007, 6:30 P.M., in the Circuit Courtroom of the Sawyer County Courthouse.
This decision is a recommendation to the County Board of Supervisors. Any person or persons
jointly aggrieved by the decision of the County Board may commence an action in the circuit
court for writ of certiorari to review the decision in whole or in part, within thirty (30) days after
the filing of the decision in the office of the Board.

Sawyer County Zoning Committee on

This Hearing will begin at 8:30 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, Hayward,
Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to
appear may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative be present, please submit a written statement in care of this
office directed to James Bassett, Chairman of the Zoning Committee. This statement should
include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a description of the general
terrain and surrounding development. Photographs of the property and/or buildings would be
beneficial. Indicate the undue hardship inflicted upon the owner by conforming to the present
zone district and the compatibility of the proposed use with the surrounding land uses.
Convenience and financial loss or gain do not constitute zoning hardship.
Your application will come before the Town Board for their review. Some townships also
have a Planning Commission. Please contact the Radisson Town Clerk, Janis Jensen, 3493N

Planning Commission and Town Board meetings for your attendance or the attendance of your
