On June 15, 2007, the Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved with revisions your
application for change of zone district on the following described real estate to wit:
Part of the SE 1/4 SW 1/4, S 11, T 42N, R 8W, Parcel 3401. Doc #346065. 7.07 acres.
Change from District Agricultural One to District Residential/Recreational One. Purpose
of request is for the future construction of a single family dwelling, owner not being
engaged in agricultural activities. Also, the parcel does not meet the minimum lot width
of 300 feet. The Town Board has approved.
The Zoning Committee voted to approve the application as follows: Approve the rezone to
Agricultural Two.
Findings of Fact: It would not be damaging to the rights of others or property values. It would not
destroy prime agricultural lands. It would be compatible with surrounding uses and the area. It is
consistent with the Town Chairman's request and it is with the knowledge of the applicant.
The Sawyer County Board of Supervisors must ratify the approval of the change in zone district
before it becomes final. This will be scheduled for the County Board meeting on July 19, 2007,
6:30 P.M., in the Circuit Courtroom of the Sawyer County Courthouse.
This decision is a recommendation to the County Board of Supervisors. Any person or persons
jointly aggrieved by the decision of the County Board may commence an action with the Sawyer
County Board of Appeals to review the decision in whole or in part, within thirty (30) days after
the filing of the decision in the office of the Committee.

Dear Mr.Tucek:
Your application for a Change in Zone District will be considered at a Public Hearing
before the Sawyer County Zoning Committee on:Friday,June 15,2007.
This Hearing will begin at 8:30 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street,Hayward,Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing.A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to
appear may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative be present,please submit a written statement in care
of this office directed to James Bassett, Chairman of the Zoning Committee. This
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general terrain and surrounding development. Photographs of the
property and/or buildings would be beneficiaL Indicate the undue hardship inflicted upon
the owner by conforming to the present zone district and the compatibility of the proposed
use with the surrounding land uses. Convenience and financial loss or gain does not
constitute zoning hardstup.
Your application will come before the Town Board for their review. Some
townships also have a Planning Commission. Please contact the Town Clerk,Carol
Stone; 634-4509 to confirm the date and obtain the time of the Planning
Commission and Town Board meetings for your attendance or the attendance of
your agent.
AMENDING SAWYER COUNTY ZONE DISTRICT MAPS
WHEREAS, the Sawyer County Board of Supervisors has heretofore been petitioned to
amend the Sawyer County Zone District Maps; and
WHEREAS, the petitions have been referred to the Sawyer County Zoning Committee
for public hearings; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Committee, on due notice, conducted a public hearing on the
proposed amendments and filed their recommendations with the Board; and
WHEREAS, this Board has the legal authority to amend zone districts pursuant to
Section 59.69 (5) (e), Wisconsin Statutes.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sawyer County Zone District
Maps, adopted March 1, 1971, be and the same are hereby amended as follows:
TOWN OF HAYWARD
1) Larry Kauffman et ux. The south 1/2 of the NW 1/4 SW 1/4, S 3, T 40N, R 8W;
Part of Parcel 3201. Vol 711 Records Page 363. 20 acres to be rezoned out of the
total 40 acres. Change from District A-1 to District RR-1 with a maximum of 14 lots
as presented on map to the committee. No further subdivision of lots.

The Sawyer County Zoning Committee, having held a public hearing pursuant to Section
59.69 (5) (e), Wisconsin Statutes, notice thereof having been given as provided by law
and being duly informed of the facts pertinent to the proposed changes, hereby
recommends that the petitions described as follows be approved:
TOWN OF HAYWARD
1) Larry Kauffman et ux. The south 1/2 of the NW 1/4 SW 1/4, S 3, T 40N, R 8W;
Part of Parcel 3201. Vol 711 Records Page 363. 20 acres to be rezoned out of the
total 40 acres. Change from District Agricultural One to District Residential/
Recreational One. Purpose of request is for the creation of residential lots. The Town
Board has approved the application.
Fred Zietlow motioned to approve the application as follows: A maximnm of 14 lots
as presented on map to the committee. No further subdivision of lots.
Arlene Mizerka seconded the motion.
Bruce Miller voted no.
Motion carried.
Findings of Fact: It would not be damaging to the rights of others or property values.
It is in proper relationship to adjoining areas.

meet the minimum lot width of 300 feet. Town Board has approved.
Bruce Miller motioned to approve the rezone to A-2.
Kathy McCoy seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
Findings of Fact: It would not be damaging to the rights of others or property values.
It would not destroy prime agricultural lands. It would be compatible with
surrounding uses and the area. It is consistent with the Town Chairman's request and
it is with the knowledge of the applicant.

provided by law and being duly infornzed of the facts pertinent to the proposed changes,
hereby recommends that the petition described as follows be denied.
TOWN OF BASS LAKE
1) Sawyer County Housing Authority. Part of the NW 1/4 NW 1/4, S 4, T 40N, R 9W, Parcels
2202 and 2215. Doc #328117 and #340553; CSM Vol 28 Page 228. Approximately 3.38
acres. Change from District Commercial One to District Residential One. Purpose of request
is for the construction of duplexes. The Town Board originally denied the application. This
application has been tabled from the November 2006 public hearing. The applicant requested
the application be postponed to the June public hearing. The Town Board has again denied
the application.
James Bassett motioned to deny the application.
Fred Zietlow seconded the motion.
Arlene Mizerka voted no.
Motion carried.
Findings of Fact: Committee is agreeing with Town Board's decision. It is bounded to that
denial by statute because this is outside of the shorelands.
TOWN OF LENROOT
2) Aaron Sunderland. Part of the NE 1/4 SW 1/4, lying west of Pfeiffer Road, including Lot 1
of CSM #4101, S 29, T 42N, R 8W, Parcels .9.1 and .9.4. Vol 553 Recards Page 373, Vol
568 Page 262, Vol 255 Page 112, Vol 711 Page 346; CSM Vol 16 Page 189. 32.67 total
acres. Change from District Agricultural One and Forestry One to District
Residential/Recreational One. Purpose of request is for residential lot development. 10 lots
proposed.The Town Board has approved the application.
Bruce Miller motioned to deny the application.
Arlene Mizerka seconded the motion.
Fred Zietlow abstained.
Motion carried.
Findings of Fact: It would be detrimental to ecology, wildlife, wetlands or shorelands. It
would destroy prime agricultural lands. It would not be compatible with surrounding uses and
the area. There are issues with the map not being illustrated as it could be regarding
easements, driveways and wetlands.
