The purpose was to stake out an area for a proposed garage that would require a variance due to wetlands. After going through the proper process for a variance the Round Lake Township denied the request. This handicaps me as the property is 2.39 acres that is topographically challenged. There are no other sites on this property that fall within zoning guidelines. The site that we staked out is currently used to store boats and cars and does not impact the wetlands at all. There would be no harm to the public interest. I would like to appeal this decision and request that you send me an application for an appeal.
