(Note : The inclusion of qutters was considered, but the heavily- wooded nature of the property argues against this due to the high maintenance that would be required. ) 1) Standard efforts (silt fencing, due diligence) will be applied throughout the actual construction period - and beyond as necessary - to prevent excavation materials finding their way to the lakeshore . 2)Also, during the anticipated summer and autumn construction season, we intend to undertake reconstruction efforts to rehabilitate and reorient the existing earth and beam steps to the lakeshore - using much the same switchback layout and building materials .
