Notice is hereby given that on August 21, 2009 the Sawyer County Zoning Coinmittee
approved the following application:
Part of the Fractional W 1/2 of the SW 1/4, S 31, T39N, R 9W; Parcel 11.2. Volume
851 Recards page 939. 16.1 acres total. Property is zoned Forestry One. Permit is
desired for an after-the fact placement of a hunting cabin in the Forestry One zone
district that does not meet the dimensional requirements of 500 square feet of
minimum floor area and 20 feet of minimum dwelling width. The To�vn Board has
approved the application with additional comments.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved the application as submitted.
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: It would not be damaging to the rights of
others or property values. It would not be detrimental to the surrounding area.
The Zoning Administrator has granted a six month extension of Land Use Permit #08-
086, to expire November 19, 2009 so that the permit would not expire before the
Conditional Use public hearing.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may
commence an action with the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the decision in
whole or in part, within thirty (30) days of the date following the date of the signing of
this letter.

Subject: UDC Requirements for Smaller Dwellings
Good Morning:
The following information was provided by Steve Boss.
• The UDC does not specify a minimum dwelling size. However, all buildings intended to be used as
dwellings must meet all code requirements and must be inspected by a licensed UDC Inspector. At a
minimum the dwelling must meet requirements for foundation, load limits and exits.
. There exists a "recreational dwelling" category. This is a dwelling that would not have water(plumbing),
electrical or a permanent heat source such as gas or electric. A wood stove does not qualify as permanent
heat. While this type of dwelling still requires the above inspections, it would not require inspections for
plumbing, electrical or insulation.

Notice is hereby given that on July 17, 2009 the Sawyer County Zoning Cominittee
tabled the following application:
Part of the Fractional W 1/2 of the SW 1/4, S 31, T39N, R 9W; Parcel 11 .2.
Volume 851 Records page 939. 16.1 acres total. Property is zoned Forestry One.
Permit is desired for an after-the fact placement of a hunting cabin in the Forestry
One zone district that does not meet the dimensional requirements of 500 square
feet of minimum floor area and 20 feet of minimum dwelling width. The Town
Board has approved the application with additional comments.
The application has been tabled to provide an opportunity for you to contact the Town of
Sand Lake Uniform Dwelling Code inspector, Scott Schiefelbein, Independent
Inspections, LLC, 715/354-3963, to determine if the cabin you have moved on will meet
the minimum standards required by the State of Wisconsin.
Land Use permit #08-086 has been extended for 6 months, to provide time to finish the
200 square foot addition indicated on the permit application.
This application will be on the Sawyer County Zoning Committee agenda for the public
hearing Friday, August 21, 2009.

Re:Conditional Use Pubic Hearing Notice
Deaz Mr.Partlow;
Your application for a Conditional Use will be considered at a Public Hearing before the
Sawyer County Zoning Committee on July 17,2009.
This Hearing will begin at 8:30 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street,Hayward,Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. :lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decisior.. Failure to
appear may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative to be present, please submit a written statement in
care of this office directed to James Bassett,the Chairman of the Zoning Committee. This
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general terrain and surrounding development. Photographs of the
property and surrounding area is encouraged. Indicate how the proposed use would not
be contrary to the public interest,et cetera.
Your application will come before the Town Board for their review. Some
