Notice is hereby given that on September 19, 2008 the Sawyer County Zoning
Committee approved the following application:
Part of the NE 1/4 NW 1/4, S 11, T 38N, R 6W, Parce12102. Doc #352039. 10 acres
total. Property is zoned Agricultural One. Purpose of request is for the construction of
a single family dwelling, owner not being engaged in agricultural activities. The
Town Board has approved the application.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved the application as submitted.
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: It would not be damaging to the rights of
others or property values. The Town Board has approved.
The approval of the conditional use will expire on September 19, 2009, if application for
the actual permit to use/construct is not made by that date.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may
cominence an action with the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the decision in
whole or in part, within thirty (30) days after the filing of the decision in the office of the

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Blevins,
The parcel described above is in the Agricultural One zone district. Enclosed please find
an application for a Conditional Use Public Hearing on the above described property for
the purpose of construction of a single family dwelling, not being engaged in farming. If
the property is not being used far farming activities (raising crops or livestock or renting
out fields for these purposes) a public hearing is necessary before the permits can be
issued to build a dwelling in the A-1 zone district.
The signed application and $200 public hearing fee are due Friday, August l, 2008 in
order to be placed on the nearest public hearing schedule. The conditional use/rezone
flowchart shows the steps leading to approval by the Zoning Committee. Notice that the
Town of Ojibwa is requested to give an opinion. The request would be on the agenda for
their September 8 Town Board meeting, which may require prior review by the Ojibwa
Planning Committee. After approval of the conditional use, you have one year to obtain
the necessary permits to build (certified soil test, sanitary permit, land use pern�it).
If farming activities are going on, please add a note with that information to a Land Use
Permit application. If farming, the conditional use is not necessary.

Deaz Mr. and Mrs. Blevins:
Your application for a Conditional Use will be considered at a Public Hearing before the
Sawyer County Zoning Committee on Friday, September 19, 2008.
This Hearing will begin at 8:30 A.M. at the Ramada Inn, 10290N Hwy 27 South
Haywazd, Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to
appear may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative to be present, please submit a written statement in
care of this office directed to James Bassett, the Chairman of the Zoning Committee. This
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general terrain and surrounding development. Photographs of the
property and surrounding area is encouraged. Indicate how the proposed use would not
be contrary to the public interest, et cetera.
Your application will come before the Town Board for their review. Some
townships also have a Planning Commission. Please contact the Town Clerk,
