Summary of Request & Project History: The applicant is requesting to rezone the above described 2.4 acres of from A-1 to RR-2. The A-1 zone district requirements would need a minimum of 5 acres and a 300' width requirement. Thus, the zone district change is being requested. The Town of Winter coinprehensive plan future land use shows this area as "Residential". With a mixing of zone districts between A-1 , RR-2, and RR-1 with similar use occurring. The anticipated lot is shown on the preliminary survey attached within the staff report packet. Zoning Committee Public Hearing Information: There were 4 opinion letters sent out, 1 returned with no objections. The Town of approved the rezone request on August 10, 2022.
