Forestry One. Permit is desired for the location/operation of Birchwood Sportsmans Club
trap,rifle range and clubhouse..
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee:It would be damaging to the rights of others
and property values.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may
appeal the decision to the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the legality of the
decision within 30 days after the date of this notice.

On Friday, June 18, 2010 the Sawyer County Zoning Committee tabied the application
for a conditional use on the following described real estate to wit:
Town of Meteor - Northwest Properties of Rice Lake LLC; Purchaser: Birchwood
Sportsmans Club. Part of the NW 1/4 SW 1/4 and the SW 1/4 SW 1/4, 518, T 37N
R8W; Parcels 102 and 11.1. Doc# 357253 69.86 total acres. Property is zoned
Forestry One. Pernvt is desired for the location/operation of Birchwood Sportsmans Club
trap, rifle range and clubhouse. The Town Board has tabled their decision with additional
comments.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee tabled the appGcation for one month, to allow
the Town Board time to inform its residents and get their input before going
forward.
The application will again be heard by the Zoning Committee on Friday, July 16,
2010.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may
appeal the decision to the Sawyer County Boazd of Appeals to review the legality of the

Re: Notice of Public Hearing Date
To Whom It May Concem:
Your application for a Conditional Use will be considered at a Public Hearing before the
Sawyer County Zoning Committee on Friday, June 18,2010.
This Hearing will begin at 8:30 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street, Hayward, Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to
appear may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative to be present, please submit a written statement in
care of this office directed to James Bassett, the Chairman of the Zoning Committee. This
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general tenain and surrounding development. Photographs of the
property and surrounding area is encouraged. Indicate how the proposed use would not
be contrary to the public interest, et cetera.
Your application will come before the Town Board tor their review. Some
townships also have a Planning Commission. Please contact the Town Clerk,
Clarence Frye; 715/943-2731 to confirm the date and obtain the time of the Planning
Commission and Town Board meetings for your attendance or the attendance of
your agent.
