Dear Mr. Tesch;
On Friday, April 17, 2009 the Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved your
application for a conditional use on the following described real estate to wit:
Town of Sand Lake—Laird J. Tesch. Lot 1,being part of Gov't lot 13, S5, T 38N, R 9W;
Parcel :13.12. Document #322719; CSM Volume 7 page 77. 0.46 total acres. Property is
zoned Forestry One. Permit is desired for the construction of an accessory building on
vacant property, by the purchaser. Purchaser owns improved property across the road
from said property. A dedicated access connects the two parcels. The Town Board has
approved the application
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved the application with the condition that
this lot be combined with the improved property across the road. Enclosed is a blank Quit
Claim Deed you must fill out and submit to the Sawyer County Register of Deeds for
recording. A fee of$13.00 is required to record the document (2 pages).
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: It would not be damaging to the rights of
others or property values.
The approval of the conditional use will expire on April 17, 2010, if a permit has not been
obtained by that date. Permit application is enclosed.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may
appeal the decision to the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the legality of the
decision within 30 days after the date of this notice.

Thanks for the telephone help regarding our special zoning ruling from last
April regarding a lot on Sissabagama Road owned by Laird Tesch . Here are the
issues :
We were granted a conditional use zoning approval for adding an accessory
building on a vacant lot ( zoned Forestry One , 0 . 46 acres ) , as long as the lot
was tied to our cabin in the Black Mallard Condo Association . The lot is
behind our duplex cabin and connected via a ten foot wide dedicated access
( see Lyle Elliott survey # 1367 , dated 12 / 7 / 1979 ) . The approval of the
conditional use expires on April 17 , 2010 , if a building permit has not been
obtained .
Because there have been legal title issues that needed to be resolved in the
purchase of this lot , we have not been able to ' close ' the deal on the
property . It appears that all of the issues have been cleared and we will be
completing the purchase early to mid April 2010 . However , this will not give
us time to apply for a building permit , so we are requesting that an
extension of this zoning exception be made . A one year extension would be
great .

Sawyer County Zoning Committee on Friday, April 17, 2009.
This Hearing will begin at 8:30 A.NI. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street, Hayward, Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. A lack of
inforniation abolit the application may result in Llnnecessaty delay of a decision. Failure
to appear may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative to be present, please submit a written statement in
care of this office directed to James Bassett, the Chairman of the Zoning Committee.
This statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general tenain and surrounding development. Photographs of the
property anci surrounding area is encouraged. Indicate how the proposed use �vould not
be contrary to the public interest, et cetera.
Your application will come before the Town Board for their re��ie�v. Some
to�vnships also have a Planning Commission. Please contact the To�vn Clerk, Elaine
Nyberg; 715/865-2486 to confirm the date and obtain the time of the Planning
Commission and To�vn Board meetings for your attendance or the attendance of
