To: James & Denise On December 30, 2009 our office received a compliant about the construction of a principle structure at the above address without being issued a LUP or in this case a Special Use Permit to build in (F-1) Forestry One Zone District. Your actual permit, dated Apri13, 2009 was on hold in our office waiting for the town board approval. On Jan 6, 2010, I spoke with Jennie Pasanen, the town clerk of Meadowbrook. She informed me that the town had given approval for the Special Use Permit but no one had notified us at Sawyer County. Therefore the permit had not been issued and we still had your permit and check on hold. On January 4, 2010 the Zoning Administrator, William Christman, and I visited your property and found that the size of the actual dwelling was 18'x 22'. On your original LUP you had stated that the cabin would be 20'x 25' and would meet the minimal 500 sq. foot requirement for habitable area. Since the cabin does not meet this minimal requirement at 18'x 22' it needs to be corrected by one of the following 3 options: 1. Enlarge the cabin so it meets the minimum requirement 2. Apply for an after-the-fact variance 3. Apply for an after-the-fact Conditional Use Permit (CUP) Also included with this letter is a copy of a letter sent to you stating that we will hold your application waiting the Town Board's approval and a copy of your Special Use Permit.
