On Friday, December 18, 2009 the Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved your
application for a conditional use on the following described real estate to wit:
Town of Lenroot—Pamela 7.Lewis Schuler. Part of the NE 1/4 NE 1/4, 532,T 42N,R
9W; Part of Pazcel llOL Volume 576 Records page 368. A 100' x 100' compound
within 25 total acres. Property is zoned Forestry One. Pemvt is desired for the
location/operation of a 250' cellular communication tower by the lessee, Central States
Tower Inc., for Verizon Wireless. The Town Board has approved the application with
additional comments.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved the application with two conditions;
1) the lessee,Central States Tower,Inc. (Verizon Wireless)shall post a$20,000.00
removal bond with the County. The bond is to be used for removal of the tower
should one year lapse during which the tower is not utilized,2)the tower must be
located at least 133 feet froro the property line.
Findings of Fact of the Zoning Committee: It's essential for ongoing improvement of
wmmunication and public safety for Sawyer County; It would not be damaging to the
rights of others or property values.
The approval of the conditional use will expire on December 18, 2010 if application for
the actual pernut to use is not made by that date.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may
appeal the decision to the Sawyer County Boazd of Appeals to review the legality of the
decision within 30 days after the date of this notice.

Sawyer County will use their Wind Energy System Ordinance as the guide for telecommunication tower applications.
1.Submit an application to the Administrator for a conditional use permit for a(WINO ENERGY SYSTEM),accompanied by 10 copies of a
scaled drawing,other descriptive information sufficient to enable the Zoning Committee to determine whether the requirements of this
ordinance will be satisfied,and such other information as may be specified on the application form.The Administrator will review the
application materials for completeness and may request that the applicant provide additional information.When the Administretor
determines that the application is complete,the Administrator will forward it to the Committee.
2.The Committee will conduct a hearing on the application after the publishing of a class 2 hearing notice.
3.The Committee may grant a conditional use permit if it determines that the requirements of this ordinance are met and that granting
the permit will not unreasonably interfere with the orderly land use and development plans of the County.The Committee may,in
writing and with findings of fact supponed by documentation and/or testimony: (a)Include conditions in the permit and waive or
reduce the burden of this ordinance if,in the Committee'sjudgment,such actions meet and serve the purpose of this ordinance
(SECTION 1.0 PURPOSE,AUHORIZATION AND INTERPRETATION).

Sawyer Counry Zoning Committee on Friday, December 18, 2009.
This Hearing will begin at 8:30 A.M. in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main
Street, Hayward, Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. A lack of
information about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to
appeaz may also result in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative to be present, please submit a written statement in
caze of this office directed to James Bassett, the Chairman of the Zoning Committee. This
statement should include your proposed intentions, the purpose of the request, and a
description of the general terrain and surrounding development. Photographs of :he

be contrary to the public interest, et cetera.
