approved your application for variance for the following proposal:

Draper.Volume 33 Records page 16,Volume 88 page 47. 0.489 acres total.Property is zoned
Residential One.AppGcation is for the replacement of a 30.5'x 50.5'gazage with a new 35'x
50.5'gazage that would be adjoined to an existing 70'x 40'garage.The existing gazage is 26.5'
from the centerline of Howard Street and the new garage would also be 26.5'from the centerline
of Howazd Street and 30'from the centerline of Main Street.Variance is requested as Section
4.21(3),Sawyer Counry Zoning Ordinance,would require the prior granting of a variance for a
structure to be located closer than 63'from the centerline of a Class C Highway and for streets
other than major and arterial roads designated as such on official maps in effect in the County.
Findings of Fact of the Board of Appeals: It would not be for the convenience of the owner;it
would not be the basis of economic gain;it would not be a self created hardship.

Dear Chairtnan Peters;
Your application for a variance will be considered at a Public Hearing before the Sawyer
County Zoning Board of Appeals on: Tuesday, November 16, 2010.
This hearing will begin at 7:00 P.M. at the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main,
Hayward, WI 54843. It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at
the Hearing. A lack of information about the situation may result in unnecessary delay of
a decision. Failure to appear may resuit in the denial of the application.
If it is impossible for a representative to be present, please submit a written statement to
tlus office directed to Alan Gerber, Chairman of the Board of Appeals. This statement
should include a description of the general tenain; surrounding development; your
proposed intentions; and the purpose of the request. Photographs of the property andlor
buildings are requested. Explain the undue zoning hardship inflicted upon the owner by
conforming to the required minimum regulation, which induced the variance request.
Convenience and financial loss or gain does not constitute a zoning hardship.
