Notice is hereby given that on September 19,2019 the Sawyer County Board of Supervisors adopted the
proposed Zoning Designation Amendment for the Property.The Property's zoning designation shall be
amended to Commercial Cone(C-1)of the following described real estate:
Part of Government Lot 3,Lot 2 CSM 34/169#8141 and part Govemment Lot 3,Lo[3 CSM 34/169 NS141;
all in 536,T40N,R08W;Parcel#010-840-36-5321 and#010-840-36-5322;1 Total Acre and 1.52 Total
Acres;Zoned Commercial One(C-1)and Residential/Recreational One(RR-1).
Permit desired to rezone existing Residential/Recreation One(RR-1)areas to Commercial One(C-1)to
conform with[he current use of the properties and to split off the large garage from the residential lot.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the County Board may commence an action in
[he Circuit Court for Writ of Certiorari[o review the legality of the decision within 30 days after the date
[he decision was ratified by the County Board.

On August 16, 2019 the Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved your application for a change of zone
district to Commercial One(C-1) on the following described real estate:
Part of Govemment Lot 3, Lot 2 CSM 34/169 N8141 and part Government Lot 3, Lot 3 CSM 34/169 dS141;
all in 536,T40N, ROSW; Parcel#O10-S40-36-5321 and k010-840-36-5322; 1 Total Acre and 152 Total
Acres;Zoned Commercial One(C-1)and Residential/Recreational One(RR-1). Permit desired to rezone
existing Residential/Recrea[ion One (RR-1)areas to Commercial One(C-1)to conform with the current use
of the properties and to split off the large garage from the residential lot.
Motion by Bassett to approve the application, second by Voight. Roll call finds Bassett—yes, Paulsen—
yes, Nyberg—yes, Buckholtz—yes,Voight—yes. All in favor.
Findings of Fact: It would not be damaging to the rights of others or proper[y values. It would not be
detrimental to ecology,wild life, wetlands or shorelands. It would no[create an air quality,water supply,
or pollution problem.
The Sawyer County Board of Supervisors must ratify the approval of the change in zone district before it
becomes final.This will be scheduled for the County Board meeting on September 19,2019 at 6:30 P.M.,
in the Circuit Courtroom of the Sawyer County Courthouse.
Any person(s)jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may appeal the decision to the
Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the legality of the decision within 30 days after the date of this
notice.

RESOLUTION TO AMEND SAWYER COUNTY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
WHEREAS, Wisconsin law permits Sawyer County (the "County") to adopt certain
zoning ordinances and amend its existing zoning ordinances, including amendments to the
County's official zoning map;
WHEREAS, the owner of real property located at Part of Government Lot 3, Lot 2 CSM
34/169 #8141 and part Government Lot 3, Lot 3 CSM 34/169 #8141 ; all in S36,T40N, R08W;
Parcel #010-840-36-5321 and #010-840-36-5322; 1 Total Acre and 1 .52 Total Acres; Zoned

WHEREAS, the Sawyer County Zoning Committee (the "Zoning Committee"), at its
meeting on Au�;ust I (�, 2019, reviewed the proposed Zoning Designation Amendment for the
Property;
WHEREAS, the Zoning Committee voted to recommenc approval f the proposed Zoning
Designation Amendment to the Sawyer County Board of Supervisors " ounty Board"); and
�'HEI2EAS, the County Board determined, at its �neeting on Set�tember l9, 2019, that
adopting �e proposed Zoning Designation Amendment for the Property is warranted to protect
the hea t �, welfare and safety of its citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Sawyer County Board of
Supervisors approves the following:
1 . Amendment to Official Zoning Map. The Property's zoning designation shall be amended
to C-1 Commercial One.
2. Additional Actions. The Sawyer County Department of Zoning and Conservation
Administrator (or his/her designee) shall take all necessary steps to ensure that the
amendment adopted herein is completed.
This Resolution is recommended for adoption by the Sawyer County Board of Supervisors at its

0.86 acres of lot 2 of preliminary survey map as RR-1
Summary of Request & Project History:
The applicant(s) are requesting to rezone lot 1 of prelim map to C-1. A portion of this
existing lot is already zoned C-1 and contains a boat storage warehouse/pole building. With the
proposed rezoning of G1 the new parcel would also include an existing garage which the
applicants would also use for commercial/resort storage. The other intent of this rezone with the
preliminary survey map would give the applicants the ability to sell off lot 2 of said map as a
separate residential property with an existing principal structure. This would not be allowed in
the current zone district configuration as the existing larger garage is zoned RR-1 and by doing
so would create an accessory structure on vacant property. If all of lot 1 was rezoned to C-1 this
would be a permitted use.
Additional Information/details:
This is the only existing C-1 zoned property in the area. However, there is currently
several other resorts and recreational establishments in this immediate area. The Town of
Hayward Comprehensive Plan only shows this area as being within the LCO Reservation
Boundary. While this property is within the boundary it would still fall under County zoning as
the applicant is a non-tribal member.

Your application for a Change in Zone Distri�t will be considered at a Publi� Hearing before the Sawyer
County Zoning Committee on August 16, 2019. This Hearing will begin at 8:30 A.M. in the Sawyer County
Courthouse, 10610 Main Street, Hayward,Wisconsin.
It is recommended that either you or a representative be present at the Hearing. A lack of information
about [he application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to appear may also result in
the denial of the applica[ion.
If it is impossible for you or a representative to be present, please submit a written statement addressed
to Ronald euckholtz, Chairman of the Zoning Committee to the above address. This statement should
include the purpose of the request or your proposed intentions and a description of the general terrain
and surrounding development. Photographs of the property and/or buildings would be beneficial. Indicate
the undue hardship inflic[ed upon you by conforming to the present zone distri�t and the compatibility of
the proposed use with the surrounding land uses and indicate how your proposal would not be contrary
to the public interest.
Your application will also go before the Town eoard for their review. Some townships also have a
