On Friday, January 16, 2015, the Sawyer Counry Zoning Committee approved the application for
a conditional use on the fol(owing described real estate to wit:
Part ofthe E 1/2 ofthe NW 1/4, Pazcels 2103 &2403 (53 & 83), and Part ofthe E 1/2 ofthe
SW 1/4, Pazcels 3101 and 3405 (92 & 12.5), all in S9, T 40N, R 8W; Site address: 13532W

The Town Boazd approved the application with conditions.
The Sawyer County Zoning Committee approved the application with the conditions imposed
by the Town of Bass Lake. Those conditions are as follows: (1) Property is to be properly
fenced by July 1, 2015; (2) Fencing must be maintained; (3) Permit is for horses only; (4) A

17.8 F-1: Forestry One District This district provides for the continuation of forest
programs and related uses in those areas best suited for such activities. It is
intended to encourage forest management programs and also to recognize the
value of the forest as a recreational resource by permitting as a conditional use
certain recreational activities which when adequately developed are not
incompatible to the forest.
A) Permitted Uses
1) Production of forest crops, including tree plantations.
2) Harvesting of wild crops such as marsh hay, fems, moss, berries, tree fruits,
and tree seeds.
3) Multiple use trails, and wildlife refuges.
4) Signs subject to the provisions of Section 5.0.
5) Soil and water conservation programs.
6) Drainage where such activity will not be in conflict with the stated purposes of
this district.
7) Year round or seasonal dwellings permitted by a special use application
subject to Section 6.9 or a Conditional Use per Section 18.5 and/or 18.6.
8) Licensed In-Home Day Care/Child Care (no more than 8 children)
B) Uses Authorized by Conditional Use
1) Public and private parks, playgrounds, and water sports areas.
2) Dams, plants for the production of electric power and flowage areas.
3) Trailer camps and campgrounds subject to the provisions of Section 6.6.
4) Forest connected industries such as sawmilis, debarking operations, chipping
facilities, and similar operations.
5) Recreation and youth camps.
6) Riding stables.
7) Shooting ranges.
8) Mineral exploration; mineral prospecting; nonmetallic operation; and mineral
reclamation, subject to Section 6.2.
9) Year round residence for caretakers of recreation areas.
10) Telephone, telegraph, power transmission towers, poles and lines, including
transformers, substations, relay and repeater stations, equipment housing, and
other necessary appurtenant equipment and structures, radio and television
stations, transmission towers, fire towers, microwave radio relay towers, and
pipelines.
11) The location, operation, and maintenance of municipa► sanitary landfills,
solid waste disposal sites, sewage disposal plants; and privately owned domestic
sewage treatment works; and necessary appurtenant equipmenUstructures
subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Administrative Code.
12) Sod and topsoil removal for resale, Subject to NR 415.04.
13) Commercial bulk fuel storage facilities.
14) Accessory structure on property lying across the Town Road from the
principle structure. See Section 4.26(2)

Your Town Boazd decision is an integal part of the decision making process for the
Sawyer County Zoning Committee. T'he Zoning Committee would like your cooperation
in staring the reasons or comments why you a rove denied or tabled the request.
Re: Claudia R. Burgan c/o Roberta Nugent
Granting of the conditional use would not be contrary to the public interest and would
be in compliance with the spirit and intent of the Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance and
the Town of Bass Lake's Comprehensive Plan (Section 8.10) because:
1) It would not be damaging to the rights of others or property values.
2) It wouid be compatible with the surrounding uses and the azea.
3) It would not create traffic or highway access problems.
Approval is with the following conditions:
1) Property is to be properly fenced by July 1, 2015
2) Fending must be maintained
3) Permit is for horses only
4) A limit of 4 horses
5) Horses must be kept behind the house
6) No boarding or renting of horses is allowed
7) Permit is for family use only
8) Signage is not allowed
9) Pemut with conditions applies to Claudia R. Burgan c/o Roberta Nugent only
Roberta Nugent was present and agreed to the conditions.
The Town of Bass Lake Planning Committee recommended approval b}�the Town
Boazd.
