Conditional Use Permit ft19-025;Nancy Sirinek.
The SE'/<of the SW'/.;510,T37N,R09W;Parcel#008-937-10-3401;40 Total Acres;Zoned Agricultural One
(A-1). Permit desired for the three(3)year renewal of conditional use permit tiO3-004 for the location of a
non-metallic mineral extraction operation,including rock crusher,and possible hot mix plant. The CUP
was originally approved at public hearing on April 19,2002 and renewed most recently May 20,2016.
Known as the Sirinek Pit.
Motion to approve by Bassett with conditions to Maintain compliance with NR135,Maintain compliance
with Plan of Operation,Hours of operation 6am—9pm,Monday—Saturday. Rock crusher not to exceed
10 consecutive days per year during operating hours,Maintain compliance with DNR Chapter 30.Second
by Voight.
Finding of Fact: It would not be damaging to the rights of others or property values. It would not be
detrimental to ecology,wild life,wetlands or shorelands.They have a clean pit.
Any person or persons jointly aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Committee may appeal the decision
to the Sawyer County Board of Appeals to review the legality of the decision within 30 days after the date
of this notice.

Requesh Three year renewal of conditional use permit 03-004 for non-metallic mineral

approved April 19, 2002. Last approved May 20, 2016.
Project History & Summary of Request
The renewal of CUP 03-004 is for the location of a non-metallic mineral extraction
operation including rock crusher and possible hot mix plant. The property is 40.0 acces and
zoned A-1. Surrounding use is agricultural, forestry, and light residential. Neazest residence other
than owners is approximately 1300'. Our office shows no complaints on file for this site. The
current mine site is approximately 1 acre.
The current normal hours of operations are 6 am — 9 pm Monday — Saturday with rock
crushing crew once a year for 7-10 consecutive days during normal operation hours.
Financial assurance has been received for $1,500 in the form of a letter of credit.
Additional information for Conditional Use Permits:
Substantial evidence means facts and information, other than merely personal preferences
or speculation, directly pertaining to the requirements and conditions an applicant must meet to
obtain a conditional use permit and that reasonable persons would accept in support of a
conclusion.
If an applicant agrees to meets all of the requirements and conditions specified in the
county ordinance or those imposed by the county zoning board, the county shall grant the
conditional use permit. Any condition imposed must be related to the purpose of the ordinance
and be based on substantial evideace. The conditions must be reasonable and, to the extent
practicable, measurable. The applicant must demonstrate that the application and all
requirements and conditions established by the county relating to the conditional use are or shall
be satisfied, both of which must be supported by substantial evidence. The county's decision to
approve or deny the permit must be supported by substantial evidence.

Zoning Committee on May 17,2019.
This Hearing will begin at 830 A.M.in the Sawyer County Courthouse, 10610 Main Street, Hayward,
Wisconsin. �

about the application may result in unnecessary delay of a decision. Failure to appear may also result in
the denial of the application.
