Please review the inspection report, read the summary on court decisions and complete the request i=or additional information. If you believe that you meet the criteria for the requested variance, you should review the variance application for correctness, sign it, and return it to this office with a check in the amount of$250.00 made out to the "Sawyer County Zoning Administration" by Friday, May 4, 2001 for hearings in June 2001. The "Application for Variance - Additional Information" must also be filled out and returned with the Variance Application. Both documents together make up the entire application that will be reviewed by the Sawyer County Board of Appeals. Failure to return both of the documents or failure to complete either document in its entirety will cause the variance application to be rejected by this office. Your application will be reviewed at two public hearings. The first hearing will held by the Town of Couderay at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 13, 2001. You should contact Charles A. Warner, Clerk, Town of Couderay at(715) 945-2902 (home)to confirm this date. The Sawyer County Board of Appeals will hold the second hearing at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 19, 2001 in the large courtroom located in the Sawyer County Courthouse. You or your representative should attend each hearing, especially the hearing conducted by the Sawyer County Board of Appeals. Only the Board of Appeals can grant the variance, the decision of the Town of Couderay is advisory only. It is your responsibility to convince the Board of Appeals to grant the variance that you have requested. Therefore, you should consider using any means at your disposal (i.e., photograptis, drawings, a good verbal presentation, etc.) as you present your facts to the Board. As we discussed this morning, I believe that the greatest hurdle that you must overcome is convincing the Board that you do not now have reasonable use of your property. The "Application for Variance—Additional Information" form provides an explanation of the criteria tha�t must be met to qualify for a variance. Parcels -1.1.1 and 2. LC Vol 331 Records Pg 425 and Plat Enve- lope 59. Parcel size is 124'x 72'/116' containing 1.04 acres. Property is zoned RR-2. Application is for the construction of a 3'/8' x 35' addition onto the back of an existing dwelling at a waterline setback of 54 feet from the normal highwater mark of Lake Ashegon. Variance is requested as Section 4.49, Sawyer Coun- ty Zon:ing Ordinance, would require a waterline setback of 75 feet from the normal highwater mark of the lake as an average setback is not available. The Soard of Appeals modified variance 91-004 to raze the existing dwelling and approve the reconstruction of a new dwelling at a waterline setback of 40 feet. Finding of Fact of the Board of Appeals: none given. Any person or pe:rsons jointly aggrieved by this decision of the Soard of Appeals may commence an action in the Circuit Court for Writ of Certiorari to review the legality of this decision within 30 days after the date of this notice.
