Dear Mr. Gerich:
Enclosed is the application for variance pertaining to your storage building. Please
review the application far correctness, sign it, and return it to this office with a check in
the amount of $250.00 made out to the "Sawyer County Zoning Administration" by
Friday, February 2, 2001 for hearings in March 2001 .
Your application will be reviewed at two public hearings. The first hearing will held by
the Town of Round Lake at 6:30 P.M., Thursday, March 8, 2001 . You should contact
Kathy McCoy, Clerk, Town of Round Lake at (715) 462-9271 [Town Hall, Wednesdays
from 9:00 A.M. -11 :00 A.M.] to confirm this date.
The Sawyer County Board of Appeals will hold the second hearing at 7:00 P.M.,
Tuesday, March 20, 2001 in the large courtroom located in the Sawyer County
Courthouse. You or your representative should attend each hearing, especially the hearing
conducted by the Sawyer County Board of Appeals. Only the Board of Appeals can grant
the variance, the decision of the Town of Round Lake is advisory only.
It is your responsibility to convince the Board of Appeals to grant the variance(s) that you
have requested. Therefore, you should consider using any means at your disposal (i.e.,
photographs, drawings, a good verbal presentation, etc.) as you present your facts to the
Board.
Please contact Mrs. Kitty Taylor if you have any questions. Office hours are 8:00 A.M. to
4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
