Dear Ms. Connolly: I responded to a compliant of a potential zoning violation on May 5, 2001. It appears you have constructed a 10` X 12' elevated deck 12 feet from the lakeshore. You are in violation ofthe following: 1.) No land use permit, #11.3 $396.50 2.) Lake setback, #11.6 $335.00 TOTAL $731.50 I will not issue these citations if I receive your full cooperation and comply with the following deadlines and stipulations: 1.) Completely remove the deck and suppoRs on or before July 15, 2001 2.) If you want to retain the deck it must be moved back to the average setback of 58 feet and procure a land use permit. You have a chazming older non-conforming cottage (less than 75 feet from lakeshore). It is very difficult to make additions and improvements without a petition for variance. A variance for the deck will not be approved in its current location. Should you have any questions please write or call. Your cooperation would be appreciated. Section 9.0 Severabilitv Should any section or provision of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid or be repealed, the constitutionality or validity of the remainder shall not be affected thereby. Section 10.0 Effective Date This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon its passage by the Sawyer County Board of Supervisors.
