AMENDMENT TO LAND CONTRACT
WHEREAS , ELMER F . SOMMER and ANNE M . SOMMER , as Vendors , '
and EDWARD M . LANGHAM and PAMELA J . LANGHAM, as Purchasers ,
entered into a Land Contract dated December 29 , 1988 for the
sale of the following-described real estate :
The West Half of the Northwest Quarter (W 1/2 NW
� 1/4 ) , Section Eleven ( 11 ) , Township Thirty-eight
( 38 ) North, Range Nine ( 9 ) West , Sawyer County,
Wisconsin .
and,
WHEREAS , said Land Contract was duly acknowledged and
recorded in the Register of Deeds ' office for Sawyer County on
pages 369 -370 in Volume 428 as Document #212259 ; and,
WHEREAS , the parties desire to amend this certain Land Con-
tract , to-wit : they wish to lower said Land Contract interest rate
to Seven (7°s ) Percent per annum.
NOW, THEREFORE , in exchange for mutual promises , the parties
agree as follows :
1 . That the rate of interest contained within the said Land
Contract is reduced from Nine ( 9% ) Percent to Seven ( 7°s ) Percent ,
effective January 1 , 1994 , and that this Contract shall be due and
payable in full on December 31 , 1998 ; and,
2 . The parties further agree that the monthly payments
shall be Two Hundred Five Dollars and Fifty-seven Cents ( $205 . 57 )
per month; and,
3 . The parties further agree that as of January l , 1994 the
principal balance is Seventeen Thousand Seven Hundred Five Dollars
and Nineteen Cents ( $17 , 705 . 19 ) , and that on December 31 , 1998 the
balance will be Ten Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-one Dollars and
Ninety-eight Cents ( $10 , 381 . 98 ) .
