Signatarc Zoning Administrrtoc SiJNRISE COVE CONDOMINIUM Minutes of the Annual Meeting 5/26/O1 Members Present: Bob and Gladys Born Bob Bymes [Ed Piechna's son-in-law] John and Wanda Larson Hazold and WIlma Lundberg Grady Zehr Minutes: Minutes from the 5/27/00 meeting were read and approved. Treasurer's Grady Zehr handed out copies of the yeazly financial repoR to members. The Report: current balance is $1160.26, which is neaz the balance ofthe last three yeazs. Grady summazized the expenses and stated our propane tank has not been filled since last November. The gas price is $1.03 until we need a refill this summer Bob Bom motioned to accept the report and Wilma Lundberg seconded it. Motion cattied. Old Business: Water Test: Wanda Larson will take a sample of our wafer to Eau Claire for testing. Because Water needs to be tested within twelve hours, it has been difficult to meet the time- table. Insurance: There aze some additional requirements for our Condo insurance, which Wanda Explained to the members. Condos need fire extinguishers and smoke alazms and they need to be checked twice a yeaz---May and October. A form that states they were checked needs to be signed and sent to the 1 ST Agency. Only one bill for the condo insurance will be sent to the Condo. After a discussion, Grady, our treasurer, will contact 15T Agency and have the bill sent to him. He will notify each member about the cost of their individual dwelling plus their shaze of the amount for other buildings, liability, etc. Please send Grady the payment promptly and make it out to Sunrise Cove Condominium. New Business: Weed Killer & Wilma asked members if they remember a discussion we had bamiing the use of Fertilizer. weed killers and fertilizer on Condo property. She couldn't find it in the minutes of meetings She told us she had talked to a DNR gentleman from Superior, who told her there is no ban of use on private property, but recommended not adding to the pollution of the lake. After a lengthly discussion about the pros and cons with using these chemicals, Wilma motioned to ban usage of weed kiliers and fertilizer and Grady seconded it. A"show of hands" was requested and the motion carried- unanimously. Boat Storage: Bob B. informed the members that Harold and he purchased a vinyl storage shelter because additional storage is needed.for pontoons and boats. Bob said Hazold paid for storage this past winter and he asked if anyone objected to their plan to put up the shelter since it appeazs that a"turn"to store one boat was needed each yeaz. Bob explained the cost and after discussions, members decided to find their own storage when their"turn" to store elsewhere came up. After Bob volunteered to take the"turn"this year-2001--, members drew names for the rotation. It is as follows: Lundberg-----2000 Born-----------2001 Och------------2002 Lazson---------2003 Piechna------- 2004 Mowing: Mary Raehsler cannot mow the grass and John hired Don Erickson. He will be paid $55 a time. We need to have the leaves raked in the fall because they blow in in neighbors' yazds, which has been a concem. Officers: Bob B. nominated Ron Och for president and Wilma seconded it.[ Harold said he talked to Ron about this possibility since it appears"turns" need to be taken with these responsibilities too.] Grady said he would continue to be treasurer and Gladys volunteered to be secretary for another yeaz. Special Wilma initiated a"thank you"to John, Wanda, and Grady for doing a great job Thanks: as officers and other members agreed. Wanda motioned to adjourn the meeting and Wilma seconded it.
