Buildings'
1. Building is a "Wick" Building, Designed for 40 osf live load
and 20, psf wind load, assuming30 0
� _psf soil bearing.
2. Lumber: S4S #2 Spruce Pine Fir or equivalent, unless
noted otherwise on drawings.
3. Qg�ncrete Streng n.; 3000 psi in 28 days, with minimum of
5 1 /2 bags of cement per c::bic yard, slump not over 4"
Ready —mix concrete to meet ASTM C94.
4. Cover Reinfor in -: Steel with concrete, 3" next to ground,
2" in foundation wall forms, lap reinforcing steel bars
24 bar diameters and mesh 12".
5. Finishing and Cur -in C ncre e: Keep wall forms on 24 hours before
stripping. Keep floors covered with watertight membrane 3 days, or
use curing compound. Steel trowel all floors to a dense finish,
ligntly broom for non —slip surface.
6. _ ncr ,_ Temperature; Maintain concrete temperature above
50 degrees for 72 hours.
7. Fill: Compacted fill shall be granule material, free of debris and stones
over 4" and reasonably graded. No frozen materials will be allowed.
8. Compaction: Strip topsoil and other orgo.nic material prior to
placing fill. Place fill in 9" loose lifts and compact with suitable
mechanical equipment to a density 95% of maximum density.
9. Grades: Slope all grade away from building for adequate drainage.
10. Exit. : Mark and light exits per building code.
11. Heatin V ntilo ion and Air Canditionin : NOT part of this
drawing and shall be as approved by local building officials.
12, Plumt?ina: NOT part of this drawing and shall be installed
in accordance with any local codes.
13. Electrical: NOT part of this drawing and shall be installed in
accordance with the National Electrical Code and any local codes,
14. The heating equipment & water heaters in this building will be
electric or direct vent sealed combustion chamber appliances.
15. This building will NOT have lighting installed until State
approval is acquired.
16. This building shall provide a designated space for the
separation, temporary storage and collection of recyclable
materials generated by the building occupants.
