After examining my records and considering their legal description I found that this property does fall within the Buffer Zone area around Lake Chippewa. Lot 59 is a significant distance back from the 100 foot lake setback, but is covered by a deed restriction extending 1,000 feet landward from the 1,313 MSI. This covenant dictates that all decks shall be natural wood and earth tone in color. As such, the request is allowed to proceed with this controlling condition. All other applicable Sawyer County and State laws and restrictions do apply to this property. Thank you for your notification of construction and allowing me time to consider this matter.
