The submittal described above has been reviewed for conformance with applicable Wisconsin Administrative Codes
and Wisconsin Statutes. The submittal has been CONDITIONALLY APPROVED. The owner, as defined in
chapter 101.01(10), Wisconsin Statutes, is responsible for compliance with all code requirements.
The following conditions shall be met during construction or installation and prior to occupancy or use:
• COMM 50.07(2) This project involves a building with a volume in excess of 50,000 cubic feet. The plans must
... be.signwd sealed -and dated.by the registered professional who prepared them. The revised plans received with
your application were not signed, sealed and dated. A signed, sealed, and dated letter from the designer of
record indicating that he has reviewed the revised plans is included and considered part of the submittal.
• COMM 50.12(4)(a) The plans reviewed do not show the anchor bolt layouts and details. Anchor bolt plans and
details are shown in the submitted structural calculations, and are to be installed per those details.
• COMM 50.12(4)(b) Submit one (1) set of building envelope calculations with the HVAC Application for
Review in accordance with COMM 63.01 on forms or computer printouts approved by the department. When
the total building volume exceeds 50,000 cubic feet, the calculations shall be stamped, signed, and dated by the
professional who prepared them. The most recent version of ComCheck-EZ, a computer program, may be used
to create documentation. The documentation can then be submitted for demonstrating building envelope
compliance. Contact 1-800-270-2633 for additional information.
• COMM 54.08(1)(b) All exit stairs in this building are not enclosed, or the enclosures are not complete to an
outside exit door. The required shortened exit distance on the floor levels affected by the open stairs has been
met, and stair enclosure is not required.
• COMM 54.15(3) Fire extinguishers are required to be provided in accordance with COMM 51.22.
• COMM 50.12 This review does not include heating, ventilating or air conditioning. The owner should be
reminded that HVAC plans, calculations, a completed SBD-118 application form and appropriate fees are
required to be submitted for review and approval prior to installation.
COMM 63.01 Prior to installation, lighting plans and calculations shall be prepared in compliance with the
code and properly signed and sealed. The plans shall be available at the job site as requested by the Department
representative or local official.
