Dear Mr . Rieder:
Enclosed is the original Certified Survey for the Horman property
on Lac Court Oreilles . The variance to create the lot line be-
tween Lots 1 and 2 was denied. I am also returning the recording
fee .
An alternative would be to dogleg a 1ot line around the existing
dwelling on Lot 2. Since this would create a substandard lot
width on Lot 1 , in turn it would need a dogleg of a lot line into
Lot 2 , preferably near CTH K. Although_ this is not a good way
to do this .
This is a messy way to do this and one in which this Admin-
istration is not in favor. Reducing the lot width less than 100
feet at the building site goes against my policy. If the survey
is re��ieied ir. thic matter , zoning will sign off of it . But
under no circumstances is approval of the revised survey an
establishment or change of the subdivision policies of this
office , nor will it be approvable in the future .
If the revised Certified Survey is submitted after I return, I
wi11 sign it for recording . If you submit it before the end of
May , Robyn has the permission and authority to sign the CSM.
I noticed that there are no proposed driveways or an access
easement shown on the survey. On County Trunk Highways ,
driveways must be 300 feet apart. Approval of the survey also
does not give approval for a driveway to each of these lots off
CTH K.
