GRADING PERMIT—CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
(Section 4.411 Land Disturbing Activities within the Shorelands Area)
Permit Conditions.The following conditions shall apply in the granting of the attached
land use pe it.
The smallest amount of baze ground shall be exposed for as short a time as
feasible.
femporary ground cover,such as mulch orjute netting,shall be used and
pe ent vegetative cover shall be established.
Diversion berms or bales,silting basins,terraces,filter fabric fencing,and
other methods shall be used to prevent erosion.
❑Lagoons shall be constructed to avoid fish trap conditions.
[�]Fill shall be stabilized according to accepted engineering standazds.
❑Filling shall comply with any local floodplain zoning ordinance and shall not
restrict a floodway or destroy the flood storage capacity of a floodplain.
❑Channels or artificial watercourses shall be constructed with side slopes of two
(2) units horizontal distances to one (1) unit vertical or flatter which shall be
promptly vegetated,unless bulkheads or rip-rap aze provided.
Note: The property owner is ultimately responsible for ensuring that sand, soil, fill,
gravel,topsoil or other materials are not deposited in waterways,water bodies or wetland
azeas.
(Section 4.28 Adverse Effects on Adjacent Properties)
�onstruction, grading, excavating or sunilaz activities which result in drainage,
runoff, erosion or the depositing of materials on to adjacent properties shall not be
allowed.

SHORELAND PRESERVATION AGREEMENT

owns real estate within Sawyer County that is subject to the Sawyer County Shoreland Regulations, and
WHEREAS, in order to secure a Land Use Permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, the owner(s) hereby certifies that, as a condition of issue of said Land Use Permit, that
the SHORELINE VEGETATION PROTECTION AREA on said real estate shall be restored in accordance
wifh the ivlitigation Ylan and Lnplementation Schedule approved by the Sawyer County Zoning Uepaztment.
The owner(s)hereby agrees that at all times in the future, the real estate subject to this Agreement shall comply
with all shareland vegetative buffer requirements of the Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance in effect on the date
that the Land Use Pernut is issued by the Zoning Office. The owner(s) fmther agrees to allow authorized
representatives of the Govemmental Unit to enter onto the owner's propedy at the following description to
inspect the structure(s) or uses authorized by said Land Use Permit and to determine if the SHORELINE
VEGETATION PROTECTION AREA exists and that it is being preserved. Violation of this Agreement will
authorize, in addition to other penal6es and relief required under the Sawyer County Zoning Ordinance,
injunctive relief, restoration of said real estate, the revocation of said Land Use Permit and the removal of all
structures approved by the issue of said Land Use Pernut and the revocation of any other uses approved by the
issue of said Land Use Permit. All parties agree that this Agreement shall be filed with the Sawyer County
Zoning Office.
